Wine & Roses Hotel, Restaurant and Spa is reopening its restaurant as the Towne House Restaurant with an emphasis on everyday dining.

The new style is a legacy to the country farm Wine & Roses used to be. Magnificent trees and gardens remain the heart of the resort. Continuing the Towne’s legacy has remained the passion of owners Russ and Kathryn Munson, chef Didier Gerbi and his culinary team.

From editor Rich Hanner: The postcards can be obtained by calling the Towne House restaurant at 209.334.6988. Our story was unclear on this point and has now been revised.

Gosh Jay, I guess I'm not the only one who get's that feeling. Thanks for posting although I am glad Wine and Roses is there and think it's beautiful. I've been to many beautiful weddings there and have watched them grow into what they now are and not just a beautiful old house with a white picket fence that was a cute Bed and Breakfast. I think they have provided what the people of Lodi want and I happily say I live in Woodbridge now for years and I live in a house that is not on the Golf Course, hahaha. I get the same feeling you do.

"In celebration of its launch, Towne House Restaurant at Wine & Roses invites guests to enjoy a “Free Flight and Bite” throughout the month of September. A Free Flight & Bite postcard required."

So- exactly how does one get their hands on one of these "postcards"? I haven't seen one in my mailbox, so let me guess - this is just sent out to those "select few" who are part of the "upper echelon" of Lodi's "high society"......pfffft. Lame.
