The following is a list of public meetings in the Lodi and Galt areas this week:

Monday

Lodi Animal Commission

The regularly scheduled meeting is canceled.

Lodi Public Library Board

The regularly scheduled meeting is canceled.

Lodi Youth Commission

Key item: Receive a city council update on Nov. 21.

When and where: 7 p.m., Hutchins Street Square, Cottage Room, 125 S. Hutchins St., Lodi.

Tuesday

San Joaquin County

Board of Supervisors

Key items:

  • Recognition of retiring Auditor-Controller Adrian Van Houten.
  • Submit area plan for 2012-16 to the California Department of Aging.
  • Endorse 2013 Top 10 priority list for transportation projects in San Joaquin County.
  • Consider adopting an amendment to an ordinance that would require a vote of the full board for each supervisor’s legislative assistant.
  • Consider a legal settlement of $138,032, in which Brenda Ledesma-Gonzalez sued San Joaquin General Hospital. She claims medical malpractice over the loss of her baby during delivery.
  • Memorandum of understanding between the county In-Home Supportive Services Public Authority and its bargaining unit.
  • Appeal by San Joaquin Farm Bureau Federation of the county Planning Commission’s approval of the expansion of Viaggio Winery. The Farm Bureau argues that Viaggio’s planned expansion violates the Williamson Act (1:30 p.m. calendar).

Morada Municipal Advisory Council

Key items:

  • Discuss payment and delivery of Christmas fruit baskets.
  • Discuss transfer of MAC bank account.

Lodi Unified School District Board of Trustees

Key items:

  • Recognizing Ron Heberle for his service as president.
  • Election of officers.

When and where: 7 p.m., James Areida Education Support Center, 1305 W. Vine St., Lodi.

The regularly scheduled meeting is canceled.

Lodi Improvement Committee

The regularly scheduled meeting is canceled.

Wednesday

Lodi Arts Commission

Key items:

  • Receive a grant update on Lodi Musical Theatre and change the musical from “Fiddler on the Roof” to “Les Miserables.”
  • Consider the 2013 to 2014 grants, including updating forms and changing the dates.
  • Receive updates on the Art Advisory Board, the Art Hop, the arts calendar and website, the Lodi Arts Foundation report and speaking engagements.

When and where: 1 p.m., Carnegie Forum, 305 W. Pine St., Lodi.

Lodi Planning Commission

Key items:

  • Discuss a request from St. Anne’s Catholic Church to permanently shut down Walnut Street from Pleasant Avenue and Church Street to create a park and plaza area between the church and school facilities.
  • Consider an application for a use permit and a beer and wine Alcoholic Beverage Control license for Smack Pie Pizza at 121 S. School St.
  • Consider an application for a use permit and beer and wine Alcoholic Beverage Control license for a new wine retail and tasting room for Six Hands Winery and Sorelle Winery at 7 N. School St.
  • Discuss a request to amend a use permit for the Wine Country Cardroom and Restaurant at 1800 S. Cherokee Lane to increase the number of tables, expand the hours of operation and increase the number of legal cardroom games. The California Attorney General’s office has already approved the changes.
  • Consider an application for an Alcoholic Beverage Control license allowing Target to sell liquor at 2355 W. Kettleman Lane.

Lodi Site Plan and Architectural Review Committee

The regularly scheduled meeting is canceled.

Reclamation District 348

Key items:

  • Discuss ongoing district operations and inspections.
  • Review of June 30 financial report audit.

When and where: 2 p.m., Croce & Co., 501 W. Weber Ave., fifth floor, Stockton.

Woodbridge Irrigation District Board of Directors

When and where: 9 a.m., Woodbridge Irrigation District, 18750 N. Lower Sacramento Road, Woodbridge.

Galt Planning Commission

Southeast Area Community Planning Advisory Council

The regularly scheduled meeting in Herald is canceled.

Friday

San Joaquin County

Local Agency Formation Commission

Key item: Proposed amendments to LAFCO policies for municipal service reviews, spheres of influence and annexations.

When and where: 10 a.m., Board of Supervisors’ chambers, 44 N. San Joaquin St., sixth floor, Stockton.
