With flu season on its way, health officials are now recommending that anyone over the age of six months old should be vaccinated. In years past, the vaccination shortage limited the vaccine to only those at high-risk. Dr. Karen Furst, health officer at San Joaquin County Public Health, said there is enough to go around this year.
"Almost everyone who wants (a vaccination) should get one," she said. "There are a lot of advantages to getting vaccinated."
