Mayor Nakanishi to give State of the City Address

Lodi Mayor Alan Nakanishi will give his State of the City Address at 11 a.m. Thursday at Hutchins Street Square, 125 S. Hutchins St., Lodi. Nakanishi will review some of Lodi’s 2013 milestones while taking a look into the future, highlighting both challenges and opportunities.

The State of the City will offer inside information to key sectors of the community, as well as networking opportunities for business and civic leaders as they exchange ideas and compare notes on current trends and events. Special guest speakers will include Lodi Police Chief Mark Helms and City Manager Rad Bartlam.

Tickets are $35 per person, and include a buffet lunch catered by A Touch of Mesquite. Tickets may be purchased at www.lodichamber.com, by calling 209-367-7840, ext. 100, or by visiting the Chamber of Commerce office, 35 S. School St. Tickets purchased online will be available for pick-up at the Chamber’s office and at will-call at the luncheon. Tickets will not be mailed out.
