The following is a list of public meetings in the Lodi and Galt areas this week:

Monday

Lodi Animal Advisory Commission

Key items:

  • Discuss June shelter statistics and approve the Lodi Animal Advisory Commission report.

When and where: 6 p.m., Lodi Police Department, Community Room, 215 W. Elm St., Lodi.

Lodi Library Board of Trustees

Key items:

  • Review the draft request for redesign, implementation and maintenance of the Lodi Public Library website.
  • Receive an update on the next phase of renovations to the library.

When and where: 5:30 p.m., Lodi Public Library, 201 W. Locust St., Lodi.

Greater Lodi Area Youth Commission

The regularly scheduled meeting is canceled.

Tuesday

Lodi Improvement Committee

Key item:

  • Discuss gang reduction, intervention and prevention program.

When and where: 6 p.m., Carnegie Forum, 305 W. Pine St., Lodi.

Lodi City Council special meeting

Key items:

  • Adopt a resolution approving the Police Officers Association of Lodi memorandum of understanding for January 2012 to December 2013.
  • Receive a report on the current status of the city’s boards, committees and commissions.

When and where: 7 a.m., Carnegie Forum, 305 W. Pine St., Lodi.

Galt Joint Union High School District

Key items:

  • Discuss in closed session a number of new hires, including the superintendent
  • Approve 2011-12 sixth budget revision

When and where: 6:30 p.m., Galt City Hall City Council chambers, 380 Civic Drive, Galt.

Wednesday

Lodi Planning Commission

  • Consider amending an approved use permit to allow a Alcoholic Beverage Control license at 2418 W. Kettleman Lane for Beverages and More, Inc.
  • Approve a use permit for a warehouse and storage use for recycled materials, including California Redemption Value, cardboard, scrap metal and electronic waste at 235 N. Washington St. for Go Green Recycling.
  • Approve a use permit for the establishment of an automotive body/fender repair and paint show at 21 N. Stockton St. for Delia Rodriguez.

When and where: 7 p.m., Carnegie Forum, 305 W. Pine St., Lodi.

Lodi Site Plan and Architectural Review Committee

The regularly scheduled meeting is canceled.

Lodi Arts Commission

Key items:

  • Review and approve a grant packet, discuss initial plan to increase visibility, select a chairperson for Deck and Square December 2013 and discuss ways to recruit volunteers, new commissioners and artists.
  • Discuss the art advisory board, Art Hop, arts calendar and website, the Taco Truck Cookoff recap and Project Lodi Art, which is on hiatus.

When and where: 1 p.m., Carnegie Forum, 305 W. Pine St., Lodi.

Lodi Art Advisory Board special meeting

Key items:

  • Discuss traffic control box art.
  • Discuss the final specs for the bike racks and the water shed mural proposal.

When and where: 4 p.m., Hutchins Street Square, Green Room, 125 S. Hutchins St., Lodi.

Galt Parks and Recreation Commission

When and where: 7 p.m., Galt City Hall City Council chambers, 380 Civic Drive, Galt.

Thursday
