After hearing concerning comments from teachers that classrooms were not clean and ready for the start of school year, trustee Ron Heberle brought his concerns to a discussion at Tuesday night’s Lodi Unified School District board meeting. The idea was to look at where problems may lie and try to come up with solutions for the health and environment of classrooms and the students and staff they serve.
“I don’t think that the custodial staff aren’t doing their job. I think the job is too big for the custodial staff,” Heberle said. “If there are not enough people, how can we alleviate that?”
