What kind of weather do you like in the summer? Unseasonable rain? Spring-type weather? Temperatures in the triple digits? It doesn’t matter what weather you prefer. This week, you’ll get it all.
Lodi-area streets were wet Monday afternoon after a brief storm, but it won’t be raining for long — in fact, we could be in triple digits by Thursday, according to Carl Erickson, a meteorologist for AccuWeather.com, a private weather forecasting service.
The rather unusual, wet late-June weather came from a jet stream from the Pacific Ocean, Erickson said. It is unlikely that areas south of San Joaquin County will get any rain.
The Lodi area could get a brief shower this morning, but that should finish off the storm, Erickson said. The high temperature today should reach the low 80s, followed by low-90s weather Wednesday. Then we’ll have triple-digit temperatures on Thursday and Friday, he said.
