A group of parents fed up with too many students and too little money at Galt High School wants to start its own charter high school.
Calling themselves Parents for Children, members said at a meeting Thursday that the Galt Joint Union High School board won't write a bond to build a second school for at least two more years. A charter school is more affordable and takes a lot less time to develop.
