Lodi Fire investigators believe someone intentionally started a Monday blaze that slightly damaged a building used for an after-school program.
The fire started before 6 a.m. at a portable building in the parking lot behind the Grape Bowl, near Lawrence Elementary School. Debris and clothing were apparently set on fire next to the building, and a fire alarm was activated when the flames began to touch the building, said Lodi Fire Battalion Chief Jeff Larson.
