The Woodbridge Irrigation District board of directors voted to place delinquent standby and groundwater charges on the San Joaquin County Office Tax Roll.
They also voted to draft an agreement on a project to move a section of the West Main Canal running through Sutter Home Winery property. Instead of cutting across the field, the line will run south along the Interstate 5 frontage road, then turn west along the edge of the property. It will be a buried 48 inch cement pipeline replacing an open canal serving about 300 acres in the area.
