The breakfast battle is on. Lodi Unified School District high schools are competing to see how many student they can convince to eat breakfast at school for the next three weeks.
The California Milk Processor Board — the creator of GOT MILK? — is partnering with Lodi Unified to challenge Bear Creek, Lodi, McNair and Tokay high school students to start the day off right with a nutritious breakfast with dairy milk for better academic performance and overall health.
The Lodi area high school with the greatest percentage of increase in breakfast participation in school from the same time period last year wins $3,000 and will be crowned "Breakfast Champs."
Get to school early, eat up, and bring your friends. The competition will run from Aug. 13 to Aug. 31.
