Lodi Police Department
In the 24 hours since 1 p.m. Tuesday, the Lodi Police Department handled 160 calls for service. The following is a sample of calls received by dispatchers:
2:13 p.m.: A man had been camping for three days in a blue Toyota pick-up truck at the Park-N-Ride lot near Victor and Beckman roads. He was arrested on a local warrant.
3:03 p.m.: Someone was pouring bleach down a storm drain near Lodi Avenue and Commerce Street.
3:53 p.m.: Three men, around 19 or 20-years-old, took Microsoft XBoxes from Radio Shack, 230 W. Kettleman Lane, and headed west in a white Ford Mustang.
4:15 p.m.: A man kept going into Classy Closet, 527 W. Lodi Ave., and asking for women's clothing.
4:47 p.m.: A 37-year-old man, who had a juvenile with him, was detained for theft at Wal-Mart, 2350 W. Kettleman Lane.
5:16 p.m.: After a man left his children inside a black Chevy Blazer they began driving the vehicle around a doctor's office parking lot near Ham Lane and Lodi Avenue.
5:47 p.m.: A man in a big red hat and yellow shoes attempted suicide by train near Turner Road.
6:03 p.m.: After three juveniles pushed a male into Lodi Lake, 1301 W. Turner Road, they left on bicycles and he called police.
6:24 p.m.: Someone was dumping raw sewage out of a trailer in the 1300 block of West Lockeford Street.
8:25 p.m.: A neighbor leaned over a fence in the 500 block of Hilborn Street and hit a dog with a broom.
12:07 a.m.: Two females were trying to get into a vacant house in the 400 block of Cherry Street.
12:50 a.m.: Four males were fighting at Jack's Back Sports Bar, 31 N. Sacramento St.
8:10 a.m.: A vehicle was stolen in the 1400 block of Holly Drive.
9:09 a.m.: Injuries were reported in a vehicle accident at Central Avenue and Vine Street.
10:48 a.m.: Tenants were evicted from Crescent Arms, 315 S. Crescent Ave., but they left behind boxes of electronic equipment that were not addressed to them.
12:19 p.m.: Two boys started a fire in a bathroom trash can in the economics building at Tokay High School, 1111 W. Century Blvd. Custodians extinguished the blaze.
2:22 p.m.: A vehicle hit a bicyclist near Jiffy Lube, 500 E. Kettleman Lane.
