Champ, the Chihuahua who doubled as the unofficial mascot at the small Save Mart store at Hutchins Street and Kettleman Lane, was still missing on Thursday afternoon.

The dog, 2, disappeared on June 30 after running outside the store. A $1,500 reward has been offered.

"It's been more than a month," said Gurdev Ghuane, who owns the store with her husband, Piara. "A lot of people have offered me a new dog, but I want my baby boy."

Anyone who may have seen Champ may call the store at 369-4321.

To Ross Farrow: If you truly want to help these people find their dog POST A PICTURE. Not everyone knows that dog belongs to a store and if someone grabbed him and took him home, they may have thought he was either dumped in that area left to die (considering it's a heavy traffic area), or he was a stray that had wandered from home. They may have also taken him to the pound. Again - POST A PICTURE. Thanks!

Should graduations return to the Grape Bowl?

Lodi Unified leaders are moving Lodi and Tokay high school graduations from the Grape Bowl to the Spanos Center at UOP in Stockton. They cite limited seating, costs and unpredictable weather at the Grape Bowl. But others say graduations at the Grape Bowl are an important Lodi tradition, and one reason many supported renovating the stadium. What do you think?
