Note that when the article says "teachers" what is really meant is the cartel of liberal,
overly unionized labor-crats that do not represent all educators.

Ms bobin stated...That is a pretty broad statement about tax increases. I hope you have evidence to support that claim

Help me out Ms Bobin... since there are hundreds of tax increase proposals every year in united states, can you post just 10 tax increases the deomcrats opposed... I cannot find one... Conservatives on the other hand, oppose just about all tax increases over the existing tax structure.

Jerry Brown, just announced that taxes need to go up again... what a surprise. If I am not mistaken, he is a democrat....

The teacher's union is nothing more than a "special" interest group. Of course they will endorse and vote for Galgaini. So will the other two "special" interest groups; police and the fire department. Democrats look after their own and will do anything to help each other. They always pick on "special" interest groups only to mis-lead the voters to think that they are NOT one. Of course they are, as they help each other through votes, support and money. The sad part is that you still have to pay union dues that go towards these candidates whether you support them or not.

That is a pretty broad statement about tax increases. I hope you have evidence to support that claim.

Even scarier are the huge donations that the Koch brothers are making to the TEA Party and TEA party backed candidates. These billionaires with their huge profits from their Koch Industries conglomerate are far more dangerous than unions, especially with their ties to the John Birch Society.

    The California Federation of Teachers

Nothing is more certain that death or taxes, except one thing. If it has a “d” (democrat) or “L” (liberal) by it's name or issue, this group will endorse it.

Interesting that the president of the California Federation of teachers, Mr Joshua Pechthalt, is also vice president of the California Labor Federation, AFL-CIO... he also is co-chair of the Millionaire Tax Campaign.
They have supported and made possible Occupy Wall Street and every tax increase legislation that has existed.

These organizations are simply branches and extensions of the Democrat Party.March 13th, 2012 was their formal endorsement of President Obama... their website contains all the talking points and strategy to make sure every democrat is supported financially and with foot soldiers... amazing.

I think the last time they endorsed a Republican was in 1850... I could be wrong, it might have in 1790.
