The California Newspaper Publishers Association is naming one of its journalism scholarships in memory of Ross Farrow, the long-time News-Sentinel reporter who passed away earlier this month.
For nearly two decades, Farrow, 62, was a fixture in the News-Sentinel newsroom and in the broader community, covering news and features throughout the area. He served as religion editor for the paper for more than 10 years. Farrow died May 16 in Sacramento from complications of pneumonia.
