The 18-year-old girl was a model student at Lodi High School who gave a gift to her teacher every Valentine’s Day and Christmas break.

She loved snapping photos of her brothers and sisters while they were playing, capturing their smiles and laughter in single frames. Even while remaining focused on her own studies, she spent her spare time volunteering at her younger siblings’ school, always encouraging them to excel.

This is very saddening to hear innocent people getting hurt and killed due to the escalating violence and crime in Lodi. I wish more could be done to prevent things like this from happening here in Lodi. Nobody deserves this kind of treatment when simply walking to a destination. I hope the city of Lodi can address the concerns for safety in this city that me and 60,000 others call home. Peace, love, and happiness for all. May Angelica rest in paradise.
