Someone got out of a truck Saturday night and fired gunshots at two men standing outside a residence in the 700 block South Garfield Street, according to Lodi police. No one was hit by the gunfire.

"We believe it was gang-related," police Sgt. David Griffin said.

The two men targeted in the gunfire ran into the residence after the 7:30 p.m. incident, while the shooter got back into the passenger seat of the truck, Griffin said. The two men in the truck were gone before officers arrived.

I hope the two men shot at were able to give a good description of both the men and the truck to help out the cops as much as possible.

Should graduations return to the Grape Bowl?

Lodi Unified leaders are moving Lodi and Tokay high school graduations from the Grape Bowl to the Spanos Center at UOP in Stockton. They cite limited seating, costs and unpredictable weather at the Grape Bowl. But others say graduations at the Grape Bowl are an important Lodi tradition, and one reason many supported renovating the stadium. What do you think?
