Many of Downtown Lodi’s business owners and merchants will be handing out candy to trick-or-treaters on Saturday, Oct. 26 from noon to 2 p.m.

The annual Downtown Halloween event used to be organized by the now-defunct Downtown Lodi Business Partnership. With the organization’s demise last spring, business owners in the Downtown area have decided to keep the popular event going on their own, said Randy Heinitz, owner of Randall’s Fine Clothing and Gifts.
