The police round them up, and then we let them go. But we keep them on a list, so we can easily visit their homes without a warrant and round them up again. That's crack police work.

Wong Kim Ark. The dissenting decision by the Chief Justice, in that case, was the correct decision.

Ok so if they are documented, lets see them. Where are the names and pics?I love it when they say,it's confidential, yet when they are in the courtroom the judge says, "People of California v. John Doe" Ok the people of California should know who they are and what they look like.

Great Job LPD, way to be pro-active and not re-active.I can't help but laugh though, why is the scope on the table? I'm thinking that's about the same as displaying the cleaning kit, but at least the cleaning kit has dangerous chemicals!

Keep up the great work LPD! Now keep it going!!! In several months you will have a handle on it! Also, lets get rid of the trespassing "dumpster divers", and all of the illegal immigrants! Panhandlers fall under the aforementioned. A hand out is panhandling.A hand up is asking for legitimate help.No free rides!S&W

The "justice" system will turn them all loose because it has no money and because we don't want to pick on illegal aliens. The most we can hope for is that the cops will keep the pressure up so the bad guys will go play their games somewhere else.

Ok, great job by the LPD and the News-Sentinel reporting. Now let's see what happens to these guys in the justice system. News-Sentinel, please continue to report on each one as they are 'processed' through the justice system. In one year present each one by name with picture, conviction, sentence, actual length of time in jail, past convictions, current residence, etc. I'll buy 30 copies of that paper - make it 330.

Forget that! I just had to hit the deck. Semi-Auto gunfire, Shotguns and the must have thrown some type of fire bomb cause the apartments are on fire. No police are visible and there is no chatter on the scanner. This is a result of a Oxy, Mark my words.

Good job LPD! Is there a way you can get these individuaks into a Lodi Court so they will have a REAL jury of their peers. I am sure there are many of us who want to do our civic duty through jury service.

Well Done LPD. The sad part is, that some of the people the police dept. arrested were let out of prision a few weeks ago due to over crowding. They were caught and will be sent back for doing what got them arrested in the first place. Got to find a permanent home for these loosers. Sherriff Joe could find them a new home. Go Arizona.

The chief and his officers can only gather evidence. It is the D.A. that has to go for the max sentences and the judges to impose them at every chance. How about no parole, ever, for felonies.

Great Job LPD. Now to you have to follow up with this. Make sure no one gets off with a slap on the wrist. Also, continue the pressure on the gang members and parole violators, dont let up. You can not make this a one shot deal.

By Wednesday night, they had arrested 30 people on drug, gun, gang, parole and probation violations, said Lodi Police Sgt. Bill Alexander. That means 25% of the idiots who can't OBEY the law are still breaking the law.Do these raids every other week and after a few months Lodi may be able to lean toward being safer. As for the bratty gang bangers, give them the maximum sentence, plus 20 years.

Excellent. 17 bangers and 41 other scum. Nice catch on the Indiana maggot. Every parole violation should triple their original sentence. Put them to work hand digging a canal from Shasta to Bakersfield. Pick off all the leader typesand most of the other snakes will go away.Constant pressure and harassment.

In the days of budget cuts and layoffs, I really appreciate the efforts that the law enforcement agencies are directing to this problem. Keep up the good work. Like trying to exterminate rats, you can't catch them all but you can certainly "thin them out" and make them go elsewhere.

Right On LPD! Make them Uncomfortable and they will go away. Raise my taxes a bit to pay for it, I Don't Mind! Can You PLEASE help us feel safe again? Or is this the one shot. And here is another Tip. Get them at their job as well. Make the Employer pay for hiring these rats.

Thank you LPD! Let's try to do this at least once a week. Either it will eventually clean up the drug and gang problem or they will leave town. Works for me.
