The case of a Woodbridge attorney poisoned by his wife and an accomplice is being featured on an episode of “Deadly Women” on Friday. The program airs on the Investigation Discovery Channel and deals with the murder case of Woodbridge attorney Larry McNabney.
McNabney was poisoned by Sarah Dutra and Lauren Sims, McNabney's wife, on Sept. 11, 2001. His body was found in a vineyard near Linden in February 2002.
Sims was arrested in connection with the murder but hung herself in her jail cell prior to trial. Her suicide note implicated Dutra, who served most of her 11-year sentence. She was released from the Central California Women’s Facility in Chowchilla in August.
Layla Bohm, a former public safety reporter for the Lodi News-Sentinel, appears on the program.
The program will air at 10 p.m. Friday. For more information, visit investigation.discovery.com/tv/deadly-women.
