A female motorist died in a vehicle accident at the intersection of Hutchins and Vine streets Saturday morning. Officer Chris Kaufman, of the Lodi Police Department, said the woman's Mazda sedan was headed south on Hutchins Street when she struck a green Chevrolet 1500 pickup truck that was headed westbound on Vine Street. The sedan was pushed into the front yard of a home on the corner of Vine and Hutchins streets as a result of the collision.
"We speculate the male driver (in the pickup) had the green light," said Kaufman.

A sad loss for the family members.
Correction: it is obvious from the photo that the green truck hit the mazda.
