The San Joaquin County Mosquito and Vector Control District recently detected West Nile virus in a dead crow collected in the Tracy area.
This is the earliest find of activity in San Joaquin County since it was first detected in 2004. In 2013, the first detection of West Nile was found May 20 in mosquitoes.
