A Lodi school teacher accused of possessing drugs on his lunch break waived his preliminary hearing Wednesday, meaning that the case will head directly toward trial.
Michael Scott Phillips, 37, has pleaded not guilty to two felony charges of drug possession, as well as misdemeanor charges of child endangerment and possession of a syringe. He will appear in Stockton court June 3, according to San Joaquin County court records.
