A Lodi man was arrested Thursday after police say he was found in possession of metal knuckles.
At approximately 1:09 p.m., Joshua Michael Sampson, 30, was arrested on the 1900 block of Mimosa Drive, according to Lt. Chris Jacobson of the Lodi Police Department.
Jacobson said officers had a search warrant for Sampson, but before they served the warrant they saw him drive off.
Officers, however, caught Sampson and approached his car, where they found metal knuckles and a controlled substance in his car, Jacobson said.
Sampson faces charges of manufacturing, selling and/or possessing metal knuckles, which is a felony.
He also faces charges of possessing and transporting a controlled substance for sale, having a controlled substance while armed and driving recklessly with a suspended license, among other charges.
He is currently in custody at the Lodi jail.
