The Christmas presents have been opened, examined and assessed. You are ecstatic about those presents that made their way from your list to Santa to the Christmas Tree. You cherish the ones that were hand-picked for you by your favorite people.

But what do you do about the present that doesn’t fit, falls just short of the one you wanted, or makes you wonder about the giver’s frame of mind at the time of purchase — while keeping in mind that it’s the thought that counts — or the one that you are certain missed the ride on Santa’s sleigh, since it was missing in action on Christmas morning?

For some the present will be put away, never to be seen again. A few people, since they have fine-tuned the art of regifting, will pass them on to a new owner.

And many will prefer to exchange the gift for a size that fits or the exact one they wanted. For these shoppers — and those who seek to find the gifts that did not make it under the Christmas tree — the following after-Christmas holiday store hours may help.

Should graduations return to the Grape Bowl?

Lodi Unified leaders are moving Lodi and Tokay high school graduations from the Grape Bowl to the Spanos Center at UOP in Stockton. They cite limited seating, costs and unpredictable weather at the Grape Bowl. But others say graduations at the Grape Bowl are an important Lodi tradition, and one reason many supported renovating the stadium. What do you think?
