There is a 63-foot-long, three-axle, bright-red monster at Lodi’s Fire Station 1, and it’s a beast that Fire Battalion Chief George Juelch is quite proud of.

Lodi Fire Department’s new tiller ladder truck has an aerial waterway that is capable of flowing up to 1,500 gallons per minute, the pump is rated at 2,000 gpm, the water tank is 425 gallons, the ladder is medium duty and can hold up to 500 pounds, and the power take-off generator can generate up to 15,000 watts.
