The Lodi-Galt area will have some bone-chilling nights this week.
Temperatures were expected to dip to about 30 degrees Tuesday night, and it will be about 30 degrees tonight, according to Mike Pigott, a meteorologist for AccuWeather.com, a private forecasting firm.
Today will be mostly sunny with a high of 48, but clouds will come in Thursday, warming things up a bit, Pigott said.
After a 55-degree day on Thursday, the area can expect a chance of rain Friday through Sunday with highs about 50 degrees, Pigott said. Residents traveling to the Bay Area for the weekend will find it a little warmer than Lodi, but just as wet, he added.
Snow levels during the weekend should reach the 3,000- to 4,000-foot level, Pigott said.
