Kaiser Permanente unveiled its new Promenade Medical Offices south of Elk Grove this week. The 4,000-square-foot Sports Medicine Center will likely draw patients from Galt and Elk Grove.
It includes a gym with the latest training equipment, a fitness testing lab and a 40-meter outdoor sprinting track. There is also a Healthy Living store and green features, according to a press release.
At the media unveiling Tuesday, Elk Grove mayor Steven Detrick and Sacramento County Supervisor Don Nottoli discussed the economic effect of the new medical offices on the surrounding community. Additionally, Elk Grove Unified School District Superintendent Steven M. Ladd accepted a $25,000 Get Moving! grant from Kaiser. It will be distributed among 25 school sites.
The medical complex opens to patients on Nov. 11. It is located at 10305 Promenade Parkway, Elk Grove.
