this reader from Vancouver Canada, thinks that the Chief Helms and his staff have made a commendable achievement, by reducing gang violence, gang activity by 60 percent. i take this interview by Striplin as being as being a bit like the Chief being in the Hot Seat. The community probably would ask questions like this, I think the Chief is being forthright on what has transpired under his watch. courageous of him, yet it shows his good metal for the job.

With his guidance, i think the community of Lodi, will be well served by the staff in training and promotion.

With situation awareness and real time analysis Policing efficiency will improve. The open forum like this, may be part of the balance, between privacy and public scrutiny.
