Convicted pedophile priest Oliver O'Grady, who served at St. Anne's Catholic Church in the 1970s, was arrested on Friday on charges of possessing thousands of pictures of child pornography, according to the Dublin Times newspaper in Ireland and Catholic canon lawyer Patrick Wall.
O'Grady was arrested at his Dublin hostel just after 7 a.m. Ireland time, the Times reported. Authorities found child pornography photos on O'Grady's laptop and a hard drive, the newspaper reported.

O'Grady, despite strong objections from Irish police, was released on minimal bail by the Judge. He lives in a hostel with children. Why is so hard for the judiciary to inform themselves about how dangerous offenders like O'Grady are? $750 bail? I bet he'll skip town. Why did the USA ever deport him? Why didn't they keep him in prison? I certainly blame the Church for shuffling him around, but when law enforcement had him dead to rights after his arrest in San Andreas, the Dept. of Corrections and INS dropped the ball, in my opinion. Now, he's traipsing all over Europe, a free-moving threat to any child who crosses his path. I pray some country does the right thing and puts him away for good. Even Ireland admits that he has an uncontrollable problem. He'll never be cured.
