The Lodi News-Sentinel won seven awards in the annual CNPA news competition announced Saturday, including honors for stories on a child dealing with a rare illness and the creation of a grape harvester by a local company.
Sponsored by CNPA, the California Newspaper Publishers Association, the Better Newspaper Contest recognizes work by newspapers of all sizes throughout the state. Results were announced Saturday at the group’s conference in San Jose.
