Galt police are looking for whoever shot seven people in the front yard of a residence in a reported drive-by shooting in the 200 block of Dover Drive in southwestern Galt.

Officers, responding to a 911 call at about 10:30 p.m. Saturday, found seven people shot in the front yard of the residence, police said.

The victims were taken to nearby hospitals, but their injuries are not considered life-threatening, police said. One of the seven victims has already been released.

Officers said they were informed that all seven people who were shot were leaving a family gathering.

Detectives say the incident may be gang-related. Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to contact Galt police at 209-366-7000.

Nah, it wasn't gang related; just some disgruntled family members who weren't invited to the party.
