Suspected burglar leads police on high-speed chase

A suspected burglar is in custody after police say he led authorities on a high-speed pursuit early Monday morning.

California Highway Patrol arrested Daniel King, 22, at Stockton Verde Mobile Home Park, after police said he burglarized the Target store on West Kettleman Lane in Lodi. Inside King’s vehicle, officers found methamphetamine, a loaded handgun and stolen merchandise, according to a CHP arrest report.

    Why didn't the officer try to stop him before he got in the car and went on a dangerous high-speed chase?

    This City needs to do something about it's Meth problem. You can no longer pretend it doesn't exist.

    Jail is going to be a rough way to detox.

    my son did not put up a fight with the police,theypulled him from his car in front of my home and threw him to the ground and punched him in the face,i know my son is not innocent,im so sick to my stomachi really hope that my son Daniel gets help with his problems,and the girl that got away is vauz Stratton,i hope she gets caught by the police too,she was also stealing and doing drugs with my son.i did not raise my son to do the things he did,i told him over and over to change his life and do positive things.i pray to god all the time to help my son,i guess being caught is the way to get help for him.......................
