Gurley is an 8½- to 9-year-old Chihuahua mix. She is spayed, has a microchip and her vaccinations are current. She will soon have her dental cleaning done so she will be in excellent health.
Gurley was adopted from Animal Friends Connection in 2005, but Animal Friends Connection recently received a call that Gurley had been taken to another shelter by the family when the caregiver could no longer care for her.
Gurley is a wonderful little dog — very traumatized, but after a few days she is now blossoming. She gets along great with other dogs and is fine with cats. Gurley is slightly shy, great with people, house-trained and loves going for walks. She also rides well in the car. She is very playful and does not act her age. Gurley will make a wonderful companion.
Gurley is being offered for adoption through Animal Friends Connection, a Lodi nonprofit organization dedicated to helping companion animals since 1990. For more information about Gurley, call or 209-365-0535.

Selma is a wire-haired terrier and Chihuahua mix. She arrived at the shelter with nine other Chihuahuas who were abandoned in a Lodi house. She may be the mom to some of the pups.
Selma is approximately 1½ years old. She is very gentle and loving, and loves to sit in your lap and be loved. Selma would probably be fine with other dogs since she lived with so many, but it is unknown how she would be around cats.
Selma is being offered for adoption through Lodi Animal Shelter. For more information about Selma, please call the shelter at 209-333-6741.
