A Lodi man was arrested Monday morning after police said he led them on a foot chase when they caught him exposing himself in public.
Lt. Fernando Martinez of the Lodi Police Department said Michael Armando Reyes, 22, was arrested after he exposed himself to a woman riding a bicycle on the 100 block of South Main Street.
Though he left the area after exposing himself, the woman followed Reyes to the 500 block of East Elm Street where she then called the police, Martinez said.
When officers arrived at the scene, Reyes took off running, Martinez said. Police officers were finally able to apprehend Reyes on the corner of Garfield and Pine, where police said they found him hiding under a car.
Police arrested Reyes at gunpoint, Martinez said, and according to police records, Reyes had three outstanding warrants in Lodi and Stockton.
