In November’s Lodi City Council race, Alan Nakanishi swept every precinct in the city.
But the remaining six challengers all had voting precincts where they received at least 13 percent of the vote.
The News-Sentinel has tallied and reviewed the results of the race precinct-by-precinct, and above is a map showing where each candidate received the highest percentage of the vote.
We also talked with candidates about why they thought they were successful in certain parts of Lodi. Councilman Phil Katzakian and candidate Tony Amador did not return calls for comment.
