Lodi police have made two arrests in connection with the shots fired this week, said Sgt. Sierra Brucia of the Lodi Police Department.
No one was injured when several shots were fired on the 300 block of Cypress Street at 10:30 p.m. on Thursday. A building was hit by the shots.
On Saturday at 3 p.m., officers arrested Joel Gonzales, 18, and a juvenile, 16, in Galt. Both were involved in the shooting, but neither was the shooter. Gonzales was booked into the Lodi jail, while the 16-year-old was booked into Juvenile Hall in Stockton.
Both are held on charges of firing a gun at a residence, assault with a deadly weapon and gang enhancement, said Brucia.
