Project Manager Andrew Freeman will give an update on the planned prison health care center at Tuesday’s San Joaquin County Board of Supervisors meeting. The center will be constructed east of Stockton.

In other action, the Board of Supervisors will consider agreeing to a water project intended to protect the Delta. The agreement would represent interests ranging across the Delta to Solano and Contra Costa counties and south through the Central Valley from Sacramento to Bakersfield.

A meeting outlining the multi-county partnership is scheduled for Lodi on Dec. 11.

Tuesday’s Board of Supervisors meeting will begin at 9 a.m. in the board chambers, 44 N. San Joaquin St., Stockton.

Wow, a new prison health facility! Don't they usually send them to County? So instead of sending them to county we (the taxpayers) are going to pay for a new center so that people who were deemed guilty for committing crimes can receive better taxpayer paid medical care. Yea, I can't wait to get the bill for this!

Lodi Unified leaders are moving Lodi and Tokay high school graduations from the Grape Bowl to the Spanos Center at UOP in Stockton. They cite limited seating, costs and unpredictable weather at the Grape Bowl. But others say graduations at the Grape Bowl are an important Lodi tradition, and one reason many supported renovating the stadium. What do you think?
