Gary Caseri, San Joaquin County’s interim agricultural commissioner, said Wednesday that results from May’s pesticide drift investigation may be ready in about a month.
Caseri’s office began investigating the drift — which occurred on Bouldin Island, about 10 miles west of Lodi — in May. The drift was related to aerial pesticide spraying applied between May 15 and 28 to remove 4,467 acres of vegetation from the island, as well as Webb Tract, according to the San Joaquin County Agricultural Commission.
