In celebration of the grand opening of Vintage Sports Grill, the restaurant will be hosting a "6 Pound Burrito Challenge" on Thursday, starting at 7 p.m.

The restaurant is located at 117 N. Sacramento St. in Lodi.

City of Lodi council members Bob Johnson and Phil Katzakian, along with Ray Crow from the Lodi Chamber of Commerce, will dare to finish the 6-pound burrito in 45 minutes to become the first inductee(s) on the Wall of Fame.

The burrito has 2 pounds of meat, 1 1/2 pounds of beans, 1 1/2 pounds of rice, three jumbo tortillas, tomato, shredded lettuce, diced yellow onion and fresh cilantro, and is topped with house-made enchilada sauce, avocado, sour cream, black olives and salsa.

Vintage Sports Grill is a new sports lounge offering a full menu including Mexican and American food provided by El Grullense Restaurant, a full bar, outside patio seating and flat-screen TVs, among other entertainment options.

I'm not sure that a six pound salad would be any healthier. Assuming it is drenched in ranch dressing, it would be just as bad for you.

That said, it is still disgusting.

Do you have a calorie count listed for the 6lb burrito?
