University of California discriminates against Californians. Chancellor Robert J Birgeneau ($500,000 salary) displaces Californians qualified for public university education at Cal. for a $50,600 payment and a foreign passport. Need for transparency at UC Berkeley has never been so clear.

UC Berkeley, ranked # 70 Forbes, is not increasing enrollment. Birgeneau accepts $50,600 FOREIGN students at the expense of qualified instate Californians.

UC Regent Chairwoman Lansing and President Yudof agree to discriminate against Californians for foreigners. Birgeneau, Yudof, Lansing need to answer to Californians.

Opinions make a difference; email UC Board of Regents marsha.kelman@ucop.edu

In contrast, the amount of money that is coming into Mr Gill is staggering. His congressional district is less well off than most congressional districts. The source of money comes from his parent's contacts in the medical, agriculture and Indian community. Mr Gill hits on the sources of Mr McNerney's money. Does he want to disclose all the business dealings of his donor base of family and family contacts? If that were to happen, his political campaign would be over faster than you could boil an egg. These donors behavior in the business world is unethical and lacks integrity.

Congress controls how money is spent in Washington. The White House does not do that. His resume shows little experience in the real world holding a real job. Does the 9th district want to send someone to Washington with little or no experience in the public or private sector? I think not.
