Eden Miranda, the only member of the Miranda family to survive a horrific crash in Lodi last month, has been released from the hospital, according to University of California, Davis Medical Center staff.
Six members of a Lodi family were killed on Oct. 22 when their Ford F-150 was struck by an SUV driving “faster than freeway speeds,” according to witnesses.
The dead included Luis Miranda Ochoa, 32, Vivian Rodriguez Salgado, 31, who was seven months pregnant, and their children, Irvin Miranda, 12, Jose Luis Miranda, 6, and Stephanie Miranda, 5.
The crash left 9-year-old Eden Miranda orphaned and hospitalized. He was admitted to UC Davis Medical Center in critical condition and upgraded to serious condition last week.
Two weeks after the crash, he’s been released.
