Artists, art lovers and those just looking for a taste of wine all gathered at the Woodbridge Winery on Saturday to admire 222 pieces of art at the Lodi Community Art Center's 48th Annual Fine Art Show.

The yearly event showcases local artists in categories such as pastels, oils and acrylics, photography, sculpture, and mixed media, and awards first and second prizes as well as honorable mentions in each category.

Notable winners at this year's show were Marry Sibert with her photo titled, "Ballroom with a View;" Marylou Schibgker's pastel "Kirkwood Meadows;" and best of show winner "California Cheese," a mixed media piece by Don Hall.

Guests attending the show were also given the opportunity to take home pieces entered into the show as well as other gifts through a fundraiser drawing for the art center.
