San Joaquin County Superior Court, which stated in a news release emailed to the media on Monday that Lodi’s court building and clerk’s office will close on Oct. 3, reported on Tuesday that it will only be a partial closure.
One courtroom, at 315 W. Elm St., will close due to state budget cuts, but the courtroom and clerk’s office at 217 W. Elm St. will remain open, according to court spokeswoman Stephanie Bohrer.
State authorities will accept public comments until 5 p.m. Aug. 2.
