Lodi police are looking for a woman who they believe embezzled over $150,000 from her employers.

Sierra Danielle Julia Garcia, 26, worked for Katzakian, William and Associates from February 2009 to September 2011 as a bookkeeper. During that time, police say she she is suspected of falsifying account entries, taking $157,800 to pay credit cards, writing checks to herself and running up personal charges with statements mailed to the business.

Detective Mike Manetti said since Garcia controlled the mail and the accounts, she was able to hide her actions from her employers until well after the company was dissolved in 2012 and taken on by PMZ Real Estate.

"The company's owner got a notice recently that an account was overdrawn, and finally checked her bank statements," said Manetti. "That's where the whole thing started."

Lodi police have a $200,000 warrant for Garcia's arrest on charges of grand theft by embezzlement, falsifying corporate books and identity theft. The allegations carry enhancements such as aggravated white-collar crime and being a theft of more than $100,000. According to the police, Garcia also goes by the last names of Anderson and Gregory. Anyone with information about her should contact Lodi Police Department Detective Mike Manetti at 209-333-6727 or 209-333-6885.

I wonder if she will get a 150 years like some of these other lopsided sentences given out for other crimes? Probably not, its only money no one really cares that she ruined people's lives!
