Michael Porter, 21, entered a not-guilty plea Wednesday morning for allegedly engaging in sexual contact with a local middle school girl.
Porter was arrested in late March on suspicion of having inappropriate conversations with and touching a 13-year-old Millswood Middle School student. The incident allegedly took place during an afterschool program. Porter is in custody on a $250,000 bond.
Porter waived his right to a formal arraignment with Wednesday’s plea and will be in court for a preliminary hearing May 26 at 1:30 p.m.
