The Lodi City Council approved plans to begin the fourth phase of the city’s residential water meter program on Wednesday night by a 4-0 vote. Advertisement of bids for the project was approved in the same vote.
Phase four includes installing 1,334 new water meters and replacing 4.5 miles of water main in the residential area bordered by Lower Sacramento Road, Elm Street, Ham Lane and Tokay Street.
