A foot pursuit ended when a wanted man tripped and fell running from Lodi police Wednesday afternoon, officers said.
Lodi police detectives spotted Bryan Ash, 25, who has multiple felony warrants, walking into a home around 1:30 p.m. on the 400 block of Cherry Street, according to Lodi police Sgt. Eric Versteeg.
Officers surrounded the area, and once they had permission from the homeowner, they entered the home, Versteeg said.
But Ash jumped out a window and tried to flee, Versteeg said.
Officers chased him along Central Avenue for about two minutes before Ash tripped and fell. Officers caught up and arrested him.
Ash, of Lodi, was booked into Lodi Police Department jail on suspicion of obstructing a police officer, along with two warrants for drug possession and a warrant for possessing a stolen car.
