Lucy is a Labrador mix who is approximately 1 to 1 -1/2 years old. She is spayed, is current with her vaccinations and will have a microchip before going to her new home. Lucy was rescued as a stray from the middle of the road. She was very happy to be rescued, and jumped right in when her rescuer stopped to pick her up.
Lucy is very loving and sweet, and gets along well with cats and other dogs — large and small. She is very athletic and energetic and loves to play ball. She is also smart and learns quickly. Lucy is kenneled in a dog run when her foster family is gone, but has outside run when they are home. They have not let her in the house, but she has never soiled her run so it is assumed that she would be a great house dog, which is what would be best for her. Lucy would make a wonderful, loving companion.
Lucy is being offered for adoption through Animal Friends Connection, a Lodi nonprofit organization dedicated to helping companion animals since 1990. For more information about Lucy, call 209-368-1761 or 209-365-0535.
