Boys and girls of the area, Santa is anxiously awaiting your Letter to Santa. He would like to know what you have been up to the this year, and what you would like to have for Christmas.

Santa is preparing for his Christmas Eve trip and is running out of time to read his letters, so he is asking that you take a moment from your busy schedules to sit down and write to him.

If you are still working on learning your alphabet and your words, ask your mom and dad to help. He is sure they would love to help you. And for you little artists, if you would like to draw a picture for Santa, please include it with your letter. He would love to put it on his refrigerator for Mrs. Claus, the elves and the reindeer to see.

When you finish up, have Mom or Dad (or Grandma and Grandpa) get it to the Lodi News-Sentinel by 5 p.m. Monday. They can deliver it to us via email at machelleh@lodinews.com; mail to P.O. Box 1360, Lodi, CA 95241; or drop it off at 125 N. Church St., Lodi. Art must be hand-delivered. Participating classrooms, remember to submit your letters via email only.

For added holiday cheer, you can see your letters published on lodinews.com and in the Lodi News-Sentinel on Dec. 13.
